ETP 67 //Reciprocity, Remembering, and Sacred Earth Connection with Grandmother Láné Sáan Moonwalker

ETP #67

“Reciprocity is the goal. If you are truly reciprocal, sustainability is a byproduct. And there will be enough leftover for generations afterward”
-Grandmother Láné Sáan Moonwalker

In this episode, I sit down with Grandmother Láné Sáan Moonwalker, a healer, teacher, Earth guardian, oracle, and spiritual elder whose work helps people remember their relationship with Earth Mother.

From the beginning of our conversation, we go straight into the deeper questions: what have we lost through generations of disconnection from the Earth, and what does it actually look like to find our way back?

Grandmother shares how her relationship with the natural world began in childhood, growing up in a family that understood the Earth, trees, rocks, animals, and waters as living beings with spirit and intelligence.

She talks about what happens when we lose touch with that relationship, how we can become disconnected from our intuition, our bodies, and the deeper wisdom that is still there underneath everything.

One of the most powerful parts of this conversation is her teaching on reciprocity. Grandmother challenges the idea that sustainability should be the goal. If we are constantly taking from the Earth, how are we giving back?

We talk about what reciprocity can look like in real life, from the food we buy and the companies we support to caring for the land around us, picking up trash, protecting water, and being more aware of what we consume.

We also explore the difference between learning and remembering, Grandmother’s healing work, her relationship with Earth Mother as the ultimate healer, and the rainbow's symbolism as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds.

Toward the end of the conversation, we move into sacred waters, nature whispering, ceremony, cacao, and the work Grandmother is bringing to the land in France.

What stayed with me most is this idea that the connection is never actually gone. Even if we were never taught how to listen, even if it has been generations since our families lived in close relationship with the Earth, something in us still remembers.

And we can begin again.
